(SP) – According to numerous sources, the Vegas Golden Knights have an eye on your girlfriend and are expected to take her in the NHL expansion draft.
“They think she has a lot of upside and they feel that you haven’t been treating her like she deserves to be treated,” said the source. “She isn’t a priority for you. But with them, she’d get a ton of attention. They would really care for her and let her be the person she could never be with you.”
Another source says the Golden Knights are a “good match” for your girlfriend and that it’s “all but a done deal.” However, there is still time to work out a handshake deal with the team in which they don’t select her.
“I can’t imagine what you could offer us, though,” said a team source. “You’re kind of a schlub and a loser. But, sure, feel free to make an offer and we’ll consider it. That said, I’m pretty sure she’s gone either way. She now realizes she has way better options than you.”
For her part, your girlfriend says she has no control over what happens.
“I guess I’ll find out soon enough,” she said, packing up her toothbrush from your bathroom. “It would be great if they would take you, though.”
