MEMPHIS – Duke Blue Devils player Grayson Allen was thrown out of the FedExForum in Memphis today after he ran onto the court during play in the second half of an Elite Eight game between North Carolina and Kentucky and proceeded to kick everyone in the dick.

“That was a terrible scene. I’m not sure what he was even doing here since Duke was eliminated a few rounds ago,” said the arena’s security director. “I hope he gets the help he needs. He is a very troubled young man.”

After Allen was tasered by arena security and dragged off the court — to thunderous applause by fans from both teams — the game was briefly halted so Tar Heels and Wildcats players who had been kicked in the groin could receive medical attention. Allen’s Duke team was eliminated in the Round of 32 by South Carolina and the Blue Devils were not scheduled to play in Memphis.

“The fact that he wasn’t even supposed to be here suggests the attacks were premeditated and that he came here specifically to assault North Carolina and Kentucky players,” said Memphis police chief Robert Watkins. “His previous attacks also suggest a pattern of behavior. He could go away for a while.”

If Allen is charged, it is expected his rich father will quickly bail him out of prison.

“Grayson struggles with disease of affluenza,” said Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski when contacted about the incident. “I hope people are patient with him through this difficult time.”

Krzyzewski also added that if his star player misses next season due to jail time, he will likely have to sit out the season because of back pain.
