(SP) – Two men spotted yelling back and forth at each other in Toronto yesterday are probably going to fight, witnesses say.

“Oh, I’m pretty sure it’s building to punches being thrown,” said one man who saw two men, one black and one white, arguing on a stage. “I’ve seen my share of bar fights in my day, and they almost always start with yelling and taunts, just as these men engaged in. Normally the men aren’t holding microphones, but I suppose every fight is different.”

Another witness, who claims to have seen the two men yelling at each other yesterday — but all the way across the continent in the city of Los Angeles — says she is surprised it hasn’t come to fisticuffs already.

“They were saying some pretty harsh things to one another,” said the woman. “The kind of things that will usually get a person punched. I was sure I’d see some punches thrown right there, but then things calmed down and I heard they got on separate planes to continue arguing in other cities or something. That’s kind of weird. But eventually I assume everything will boil over and they’ll come to blows.”

Friends of the two men say they think they will fight, too.

“I’m not sure how long we’ll be able to hold them back,” said one associate. “I have a sense that this organic pre-fight process will explode on Saturday, August 26th in Las Vegas in the state of Nevada at T-Mobile Arena.”
