(SP) – A new poll released today by CNN/ORC finds that nearly half of American adults strongly support the same political viewpoints championed by Buffalo Bills guard Richie Incognito. Nearly 50% of those surveyed said that Incognito has the right policies in mind on how to improve America and 43% believed the former Rams, Bills and Dolphins lineman could be the future president of the United States. A full 40% loudly belched at least once while answering the poll questions.

“Millions of Americans remain very confident in the Richie Incognito vision for America,” said Steven Kuhl, a polling expert who led the CNN/ORC survey. “As someone who was kicked out of college, works a manual labor job in the NFL trenches and was accused of mistreating a professional colleague, Mr. Incognito’s story resonates with large swath of America and they feel his views are their views.”

On specific issues, Americans support Incognito’s policy viewpoints the most in the areas of foreign policy (42%), the economy (43%) and hitting them in the mouth (49%). The lowest percentages mirror Incognito’s opinion on healthcare (35%) and that the Bills have a chance at the playoffs next year (7%). The survey had a margin of error of 4.5%, well below the likelihood of error in each Buffalo play (98.7%).

Incognito said he is glad to retain the support of millions of Americans.

“Mmmmrrrphs gluump mwaaughggfff,” said Incognito, his mouth stuffed with a giant pork sandwich, barbecue sauce dripping onto his bare chest while he sat on the toilet taking a bowel movement. “Braawp uhmorikuns.”
