(SP) – According to several reports, Johnny Manziel is a topic again in the news. The exact reason is not yet completely known, but it probably has something to do with football, nightlife, pending charges, attempting to get his life in order or some mix of those.
Yet multiple news outlets indeed had Manziel-related headlines over the last 24 hours, it has been confirmed. Other media organizations are reportedly going to have pieces about Manziel today. The former quarterback hasn’t played football since throwing for 137 yards and an interception in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on December 27, 2015, yet here we are.
ESPN has reported that a recent photograph was taken of Manziel, while USA Today is reporting he said words. And, according to a Fox Sports report, a person who is not Manziel has said words about Manziel. The situation continues to develop.
Commentary on social media has also been heavy since we started talking about Manziel again.
“I sure hope Johnny gets signed or gets his life in order or puts on weight or whatever the case may be currently,” read one tweet with hundreds of shares.
“Some team needs to sign this guy and give him a shot or he blew his chance and never was that good anyway good riddance,” read another.
