(SP) – Conor McGregor stated today that he feels more confident than ever that he will defeat Floyd Mayweather when he meets him in the boxing ring on August 26 in Las Vegas, crediting three two-minute videos he watched today on how to box.

“I’m a natural fighter, but are there some things specifically about boxing I probably didn’t know as well as Mayweather,” said McGregor. “Well, not after today. The internet has so much good information on it and I found a treasure trove of boxing videos from a guy named Gary. He has a YouTube channel called Gary’s Boxing. He shot them in his garage and the lighting and sound weren’t, but the information was top notch. I’m ready.”

The UFC star is a heavy underdog in his first boxing match against the undefeated Mayweather, but said he believes he is ready to “shock the world.”

“A few days ago I was in the gym in front of the media and kind of just wiggled my arms around while prowling this way and that,” said McGregor. “It turns out, that is not boxing. YouTube Gary taught me that. And now Floyd Mayweather is doomed.”

Mayweather says he has also been watching videos in preparation for the fight.

“I watch a lot of video,” he said. “Video, TVs, movies. Really anything that doesn’t require me to read.”
